Graduates
PDR are always looking for quality graduates undertaking building related degree courses who are looking for either a year out placement or permanent employment following completion of their course.

Training
PDR is committed to providing ongoing training to its staff force and takes it's Health and Safetly obligations on site extremely seriously.
At PDR, the staff are the biggest asset and by a continual programme of investment in the workforce, the returns are a highly incentivised workforce where staff turnover is uncommonly minimal.
PDR's training programme involves the following areas: -
Further Education
PDR have a number of both technical and site staff undertaking day release and block release courses to gain further qualifications, whilst at the same time having the financial security and receiving the invaluable experience of working for a busy construction company.
Degrees
PDR are committed to taking on degree students on a year out basis but also actively recruit at University Trade Fairs to canvas for that next person looking for the challenge of working for the localities largest contractor.
Health and Safety - all part of the culture at PDR Construction Limited
Without doubt the most essential factor in health and safety is a company that genuinely cares and prides itself in delivering health and safety as its number one priority.
A good safety culture doesn’t just happen. You have to work at it; here at PDR we work closely with our employees to ensure we follow best practice throughout our business activities.
We provide a wide variety of services, each with different risks we control these risks through dedicated professional staff supported by Health and Safety professionals.
As a company we make sure the financial resources are made available for best health and safety practices.
All site managers are required to attend the "Site Management Safety Training Scheme" operated by the CITB.
All subcontractor appointments and repeat orders are subject to pre order/pre qualification questionnaires and continuous performance criteria used in accordance with all current legislation.
The Company is CHAS Accredited (see "About Us" page for the CHAS Certificate).

First Aid
All PDR Site Manager's are trained in administering first aid should the need ever arise.
Office Training/IT
As well as the site and technical staff receiving comprehensive training and further education, PDR also actively encourage office and admin staff to better themselves and actively encourage the attendance of relevant courses and provide day release for those wishing to obtain an appropriate NVQ qualification.
CITB
PDR are a fully paid up member of the CITB and fully utilise their courses and training programmes.
