PDR back local club to national success!
PDR Construction are proud sponsors of Kingston Upon Hull Men’s Hockey Club. KUHCC have a double celebration in 2007. The first team have won promotion back to the Slazenger England Hockey League from the North Premier and their indoor team also make a welcome return to the England Premier National Indoor League by topping Men’s Division One. Both indoor and outdoor teams only lost one game in the 2006-07 campaign to gain their respective promotions.
Lee Newsham, financial director of PDR, said “Hockey is an amateur sport but a team at Hull’s level need to operate on a professional basis to be able to compete with the better funded Southern teams. KUHCC, like PDR, have a national presence, it therefore makes perfect sense for us to sponsor our local team.
As a member of the club myself, it gives me great personal satisfaction that the Company is able to provide this sponsorship to help Hull affirm its position back in Hockey's top flight.”
