They've made it - the finish line at Rome!
Can you believe it's only twelve months since Dave and I pestered you for some hard earned cash to sponsor our annual cycle trek around Europe, this year we are riding through Italy and ending in Rome - 350 miles in 3 & a half days!
More importantly the cash we raised in 2010 has really made a difference, this year we the cyclists and helpers, have refurbished the Sheffield Children's Ryegate Therapy Block, home for physiotherapy, occupational therapy and hydrotherapy services, which plays a vital role in getting some very sick children back on their feet.
This is our fifth year and so far we have covered 1,410 miles and raised £181,000.00. We continue to support the Children's Hospital in Sheffield but are donating monies to Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research who are working closely with the Children's Hospital and the NSPCC who are committing to using the funds raised to a specific local project.
It sounds a bit clichéd but we do really appreciate your support to these fantastic charities and any donation will make a difference.
